The Living Crib is back in Montefiore Conca, in the heart of one of Italy's most beautiful villages, with the reconstruction of numerous scenes of life related to the Nativity.

On Friday 26 December, Sunday 28 December and Thursday 1 January 2026, the old town centre is transformed into a small Bethlehem, enveloped in an evocative atmosphere.

Together with animals, more than 180 figures including shepherds, pipers and artisans reproducing ancient crafts arrive at the fortress for a small, exciting open-air theatre performance.

A journey back in time among the lights and ancient flavours of the taverns of the living nativity scene, using as currency the Denaro (money) that can be exchanged at the special exchange counters.
