27-29 December 2025 sees the return of the PENNABILLI DJANGO FESTIVAL, the 13th edition of the international jazz manouche music festival dedicated to the extraordinary figure of guitarist Django Reinhardt.

Django, a Gypsy genius of Sinti ethnicity (manouche in French), the father of gypsy jazz or manouche swing, was the first to have the idea of combining the chords of jazz with the rhythms of the gypsy tradition, anticipating a polycultural vision of jazz and the very idea of European jazz.

The echo of Manouche Jazz now continues to resound in the Upper Marecchia Valley for the 13th edition of the festival. The enthusiasm and tenacity of the Ultimo Punto Cultural Association does not stop, and once again this year brings the rhythms and scents of gypsy music to the Tuscan-Romagna Apennines, creating a unique event, with important international guests, that arouses expectation and curiosity in the manouche jazz scene.

In the days between Christmas and New Year's Eve, Pennabilli vibrates to the rhythm of gypsy jazz with:
- Evening concerts at Teatro Vittoria, with the best artists of the manouche scene;
- Musical aperitifs at the Orto dei Frutti Dimenticati, amidst roasted chestnuts and mulled wine;
- Jam sessions open to all, late into the night, from the great classics of Django Reinhardt to traditional gypsy melodies, from jazz standards from the 1930s to compositions by the best known exponents of contemporary manouche.
