Directly from Carnegie Hall in New York, maestro Giacomo Franci will perform in concert on 16 May at 9 pm.
A great artist appreciated all over the world who comes to Romagna for an exclusive concert in Italy.
Giacomo Franci, 59 years old, Tuscan by birth and New Yorker by adoption, has long resided in the Big Apple where he has been conducting since 2004 the New York Chamber Players, which he founded, with forty musicians with whom he performs the entire classical repertoire for orchestra and for piano and orchestra.
He is one of the very few pianists in Italy who can conduct and play from the piano as masters such as Daniel Barenboim and Andras Schiff do. His highly acclaimed performances are held all over the world, from Carnegie Hall in Manhattan to Beijing where he has conducted two orchestras: Beijing Symphony Orchestra and Shanghai Chamber Orchestra.
