When the sun goes down behind the ridges and the lake becomes dark and silent, the adventure begins: in a canoe, pushed only by the strength of our arms, we will cross the waters of Ridracoli towards the Foresta della Lama*.
Having disembarked on the shore, we will continue on foot for about an hour until we reach the true green heart of the National Park, where the night makes every step more intense: scents, rustling and shadows transform the forest into an experience to be lived with all the senses.

In the heart of the forest, we will take a break to eat our picnic dinner, share some chit-chat and enjoy the charm of one of the most evocative and scenic places in the area.
Then, at the end, the most magical part awaits us: canoeing back under the stars, with the lake reflecting the sky and the night accompanying each paddle.

For the walking part: Distance km 5 round trip - Height difference approx. 200 m - Time required approx. 1 hour (from landing to land).

Meeting point: 6.30 pm at the Ridracoli Dam ticket office
Expected return: about 11.30 p.m.

The excursion takes place with a minimum of 10 participants (max. 40).

Before setting off, those who wish can also visit IDRO Ecomuseo delle Acque di Ridracoli, which will be open from 10.00 am.

Necessary equipment:
Dirty clothes, sandals/shoes, trainers, towel, cap or bandana, water bottle and packed dinner. Also essential: head torch and jacket (the temperature may drop in the evening).

* If the lake water level does not allow canoeing to the Foresta della Lama, we will go to the "Seghettina", a wonderful area in a panoramic position overlooking the lake. Canoe and walking times remain unchanged.
