The 4 VIE – Street Fest is back in Morciano di Romagna!

The name says it all: four streets in the centre of Morciano — Via Roma, Via Fratti, Via Colombari and Via Bucci — which, for one evening, change their usual function and become a single route to be explored on foot, with something different around every corner.

The event was launched in the summer of 2026 as part of the ‘Restate a Morciano’ programme, promoted by the local council in collaboration with the Pro Loco, and proved a hit right from the first two events on 8 and 29 July: shops staying open late, families and young people out and about in the town centre, and the streets bustling well past dinner time. This positive response led to a third date being added to the calendar.

The event takes place on Wednesday 26 August from 7 pm, following the same format as previous evenings. In Via Roma, there’ll be a DJ set and the Car Boot Sale – a market for second-hand goods and creative upcycling, where items are sold straight from the boot of a car. In Via Fratti, the Children’s Market, with the little ones behind the stalls haggling over their toys. And then there’s the street food, the town centre shops open for evening shopping, and music to accompany the whole evening.

Morciano has been the market town of the Valconca for centuries: the San Gregorio Fair, held every March, has its roots in the Middle Ages and remains one of the oldest and most popular in Romagna. In short, an evening that brings trade back onto the streets is not an idea imposed from above: it is the town doing what it has always done, but in a new format.

Entry is free. To take part in the Children’s Market with your own stall, you must register in advance.
