The little square at Porta di Sotto offers one of the most beautiful views in Mondaino: you reach it by walking through the village, right next to what used to be the Porta Montanara of the Malatesta castle, and the first valleys of the Marche region open up before you. On Saturday 5 September, at 6.00 pm, it will become the stage for the MYO All Jazz Trio’s ‘The Magic of the Great Standards’, an acoustic concert lit solely by natural light, as with all the events in the programme. Afterwards, there will be a toast with the audience.

The ‘Pinocchio in Valconca’ festival offers a journey through music and travelling theatre to celebrate the 200th anniversary of Collodi. The programme includes the concerts ‘The Music of the Land of Toys’, featuring the Mondaino Youth Orchestra and the Mondaino Wind Orchestra, and the travelling show ‘Pinocchio in Valconca’ by Città Teatro. Organised by the Unione Valconca, the initiative showcases the valley’s villages through open-air, acoustic events set against the backdrop of the surrounding landscape.
