Places of the Soul – Italian Film Festival that was inaugurated on the occasion of the centenary of the birth of the poet, writer and screenwriter Tonino Guerra. The Festival seeks to enhance the cinematographic works in which the setting is the protagonist, in the osmosis between territory, memory, imagination and story.

The places where one can find new inspiration, a means through which to restore all the beauty of the world.

The goal is to convey those values in which Tonino Guerra believed, among great cinema, poetry and literature, all of which are his immense intellectual and emotional legacy: a feeling in which landscape, memory, imagination and story do not forget their deep roots in the territory.
Starting from these concepts, the Festival has dedicated itself to audiovisual works that narrate to the general public the memories and events of territories and people, also through the experimentation of new languages and research work on the themes of environmental and human resilience, thus contributing to social and anthropological, cultural and artistic reflection.

The festival has welcomed artists (actors, directors, writers) known nationally and internationally, who chaired several masterclasses on the professions of cinema, among them, Ricky Tognazzi, Monica Guerritore and Mogol.
