The modern structure immersed in the greenery of the pine forest, which served as the summer residence of the master Remo Brindisi until his death, was built between 1971 and 1973 based on a design by architect-designer Nanda Vigo.

After the artist's death, the museum and the entire collection it houses were acquired by the Municipality of Comacchio, according to Brindisi's will.

The building is characterized by a large central cylinder that connects different floors and living spaces, including those for study and exhibitions, in a continuous interpenetration. The collection, which also includes works by Brindisi himself, comprises about two thousand pieces and documents many of the main artistic movements of the twentieth century at an international level, with a particular focus on Milan in the 1950s-70s.

Special opening hours from 7:00 PM to midnight.
Reduced admission for women, seniors over 65, and children aged 11 to 18. Free admission for children under 11 accompanied by their parents.
