It was 14 August 1933. Off the coast of Riccione one of the largest and fastest motor ships of the time docked to disembark its passengers. The Pearl of the Adriatic was in fact one of the ten stops in the Adriatic of the summer promotional cruise organised for the liner Oceania Cosulich.
The musical comedy 'Oceania. The true story of the ocean liner Oceania cruising Riccione in 1933'. The musical comedy, directed by Elena Ronchetti, who also took care of the script and choreography, will be staged for four evenings in Piazzetta Dante Tosi. The backdrop will be the port of Riccione, an ideal and evocative place to narrate the adventures of the characters who disembarked from the transatlantic liner Oceania that August holiday in 1933 to visit and spend a day in the Green Pearl of the Adriatic. The musical comedy, with free admission, will make its debut on Saturday 20 July with three replicates: Sunday 21 July, Wednesday 7 and 14 August.
