Tuesday 6 and 20 August 2024. Night-time circular walk to discover the Miner's Path of the Formignano Fairies: a new route to get to know the sulphur mines, through steps, stories and tales of the miner's trade in Romagna.

Formignano is a small hill town in the Savio Valley, near Borello, a few kilometres from Cesena.



The trek will conclude, for those who wish, with the possibility of sharing a convivial moment at the La Miniera di Formignano club.

Meeting and departure: 15 minutes before at Aie di Formignano, via Formignano n. 2824

Duration: about 1 hour and a half, including stops

Distance: about 5 km

Height difference: + 150 metres

Difficulty: medium (some steep sections)

Required: hiking shoes, rucksack, 1 litre of water, snack/meal, kway, sweatshirt, torch or headlamp. Participants with unsuitable shoes will not be accepted.

Recommended: poles, change of clothes (in the car)

Minimum: 15 people

Maximum: 25 people
