Published in 1980, 'Altri libertini' is the first work by Pier Vittorio Tondelli, one of the most important writers in contemporary literature, who died in 1991 at the age of only thirty-six. With vivid, raw and at times experimental language, the text tells the stories of a series of young people, often on the margins of society, in search of their own identity in the Italy of the late 1970s. A work so revolutionary and shameless - it was even seized for obscenity
- that it quickly established itself as the manifesto of an entire generation.
More than forty years later, that generational manifesto conquers the theatrical stage thanks to Compagnia Licia Lanera, which for the first time in Italy since Tondelli's death has obtained the rights to stage the play. Only three days after its debut at the Romaeuropa Festival and before the replicas at the Piccolo Teatro in Milan, "Altri libertini" lands in Riccione - Tondelli's elective homeland - and is presented to the public in one of the city's symbolic places, the pyramid of the Cocoricò disco.
Of the six stories that make up the book - an "episodic novel" as the author defined it - Licia Lanera has chosen to work on "Viaggio", "Altri libertini" and "Autobahn", crossing them in a single narration that sees her on stage alongside three male performers.

Tickets for the individual performances of the TTV Festival are on pre-sale on the Liveticket.it website and in authorised Liveticket outlets (pre-sale fees apply), at the Villa Franceschi box office until 17 October (opening times: Monday-Wednesday-Friday, 9am-1pm, Tuesday and Thursday, 2pm-6pm). On performance days, the box office opens two hours before the event.
