In Cesena, "Once upon a time...": every third weekend of the month, the great antiques, modern antiques and brocantage event at the Cesena Fairgrounds. Hundreds of exhibitors offer a large audience of visitors and enthusiasts art objects, furniture, clocks, antique books and prints, scientific and musical instruments, toys and all kinds of collectibles.

March 18-19 - running concurrently is the side exhibition "From the Key to the Radio Waves. Communication in wartime," curated by Cristiano Riciputi and produced under the patronage of Compu, the National Association of Vintage Office Machine Collectors.
Among the interesting objects on display is one of the world's few still-functioning examples of "Enigma," the famous cryptographic machine used by the German military to send coded messages.
It was Alan Turing, together with a team of Polish experts, who deciphered the mechanisms of Enigma, thus contributing to the defeat of the Germans.
The famous 1912 Corona 3 used by Ernest Hemingway will also be on display, alongside some 40 exhibits from the early 1900s to World War II, from typewriters used by war reporters to equipment used by soldiers on battlefields.
