Dinosaurs come to Poggio Berni!
From 21 September 2024 to 6 April 2025 Poggio Berni will take a plunge into Prehistory!
More than 50 specimens will populate the Parco della Cava in Via Guado Marecchia for about six months, transforming it into a marvellous Jurassic setting inhabited by gigantic, strange creatures.
These are the dinosaurs and other prehistoric animals of the Dino Park "World Of Dinosaurs", the travelling "temporary" exhibition of life-size reproductions.
Dedicated to children, families, school groups and the many enthusiasts, the exhibition will be the ideal opportunity to bring the little ones closer to the world of dinosaurs and to spend carefree moments with the family immersed in the charm of the surrounding area.
The exhibition, conceived by the Austrian company Wonderworld Entertainment, is organised by Start Innova as part of the "Parcoscenico" territory promotion project with the patronage of the Municipality of Poggio Torriana and the collaboration of local associations.
From 21 September until 6 April 2025, visitors will be able to admire reconstructions of dinosaurs and other prehistoric animals in their original size and in a natural outdoor setting. All the reproductions on display are astonishingly realistic and meticulously detailed. From the terrible carnivores such as the T-Rex and the ravenous Deinonychus, to the majestic 30-metre-long Diplodocus and Stegosaurus, to aquatic species and large prehistoric mammals such as the Woolly Mammoth and Elasmotherium.
The selection of dinosaurs represented is truly rich and they can be seen up close in all their size and uniqueness. Like a real open-air museum, the exhibition is an interesting insight into the world of these fascinating giants of prehistory, for an exciting journey back in time.
