Written and performed by Tindaro Granata, Vorrei una voce is a monologue built around Mina's songs, sung in playback. Dedicated to those who have lost the ability to dream, the show is inspired by a long journey made by the author at the Piccolo Shakespeare theatre, inside the Messina prison, with high-security inmates. In that project, the inmates staged Mina's last live concert, held at the Bussola on 23 August 1978.
