Wednesday 1 January will open with one of Riccione's most eagerly awaited and beloved events: the energetic and daring New Year's Eve Plunge at the beach in Piazzale Roma. At 11.30 am, hundreds of fearless participants, braving the cold waters of the Adriatic, will welcome the New Year with an explosion of adrenaline and freshness. The initiative is a project promoted by Polisportiva Riccione in collaboration with the Municipality of Riccione and with the Beach Identity Association for Unesco headquarters in Riccione, the Harbour Master's Office, the Italian Red Cross - Riccione Local Committee, the Friends of the Riccione White Buoy Association, the Arcione Civil Defence Association, and Riccione Chapter Italy.
