From December to 6 January, in Rimini, in the villages of the Marecchia Valley and at the Sanctuary of La Verna, numerous nativity scenes are on display in convents, fortresses, churches; ancient and modern; made by master nativity scene makers, nuns and friars, works of art or simple creations made by children.
All to celebrate the birth of the Child of Bethlehem, as St Francis called him.

world, housed in a museum that tells the story of the art and faith of this ancient diocese.
Augustinian Monastery
Via della Rupe 4
Hours: daily 10:00-12:00; 16:00-17:30
Nativity scene in plaster, wood, fabric, glass from 2019, the work of Sr Elena Manganelli. Exhibited in St Peter's Hall.
The Monastery, founded in 1517 at the ancient Rocca di Billi, followed the historical events of Italy and the territory until it accepted the
Rule of St Augustine, lived in joy and harmony by the Sisters who still embrace and guard it today.
The Great Crib on the Rupe
From 8 December to 6 January, on the rock known as the 'Rupe', a nativity scene is set up with 4-metre-high figures of the Nativity, visible even at night with lights that create an atmosphere of peace and tranquillity.

VILLA MAINDI
In the small hamlet not far from the centre of Pennabilli, the inhabitants set up handcrafted nativity scenes every year that can be freely visited in the hamlet's narrow streets.

Historical Artistic Crib "St. Francis and St. Clare at the Porziuncola", realised in Neapolitan style with antique fabrics.
