Christmas in San Leo!

In the heart of the Alta Valmarecchia, the town of San Leo is preparing to experience a special Christmas, full of meaning and community spirit.
From 8 December to 6 January, there will be a rich calendar of activities for young and old, immersed in the streets of the centre illuminated and coloured by the handcrafted decorations made by children, artisans, inhabitants and associations.
It starts on 8 December from 4 p.m. with the Opening of Father Christmas's House in Piazza Dante, where children can write special letters and decorate the big Christmas Tree. There will also be a magical Christmas atmosphere with live music, children's make-up, the popular dances of Viva el Ball, mulled wine, hot chocolate and a tasty snack in the Bottega di San Leo.
This is just the first of the many events conceived and self-financed by the local community: parents, artists, artisans, producers, restaurateurs, inhabitants united by the strong will to animate their town, thanks to the organisation and collaboration of realities such as Gruppo Genitori, Pro Loco, Cooperativa di comunità Fermenti Leontine, LAB.ottega di Nena and the Parish, together with the support of the Municipality and San Leo 2000.
A synergy that represents not only an opportunity to celebrate Christmas in a unique way, but also a sign of deep desire to collaborate and team up to regenerate the territory and build together a positive future for the community of San Leo.

8 DECEMBER
THE COUNTRY IN FEAST: Opening of Santa's house. Lighting of illuminations. Popular dances with "Viva el Ball".
14 DECEMBER
PROjection: "Love wants love"
Story reading and musical projection by the Parish of San Leo.
21 DECEMBER
DRUMMING LABORATORY: travelling percussion.
24 DECEMBER
SANTA CLAUS ARRIVES! Poems and songs in front of the crib.
28 DECEMBER
HANDICRAFT LABORATORY: creation of wicker baskets.
31 DECEMBER
NEW YEAR'S EVE 2024: DJ set and toast in Piazza Dante.
5 JANUARY
WAITING FOR THE BEFANA: games and arrival of the Befana, Pasqualotti and lots of candy!
