Christmas in Premilcuore

From 7 December 2024 to 6 January 2025, Premilcuore will be transformed to celebrate Christmas with a programme full of events that opens with the lighting of the Christmas Tree and illuminations.
During the weekends, the village will be animated with workshops, activities in the shops and, at the Visitors' Centre of the National Park of the Casentino Forests, playful moments and musical narratives for children.
The festival will continue with itinerant performances, such as the Band of Carters and the travelling concert of the Musicians of San Crispino, who will bring joy and Christmas spirit to the streets of the centre.
The programme includes:
8 December: from 4.30 p.m., show with the Musicanti di San Crispino and lighting of illuminations and tree;
14 December: from 3 p.m., write your letter to Father Christmas
15 December: from 3 p.m., fairy tale ‘On the back of a donkey’ and workshop by Liberi e Selvaggi
21 December: 5 p.m., improvised theatre performance ‘A Christmas Carlo
22 December: 3 p.m., storytelling and musical workshops;
25 December: Great Christmas Bingo.
28 December: Christmas concert by the Band of Carters of Premilcuore and special concerts organised by the Music Academy Association and Soprano Wilma Vernocchi.
5 January: ‘Aspettando la Befana’ (Waiting for the Epiphany) with the Befanotti of Premilcuore who will bring the traditional songs of the Pasquella along the streets of the village and in the hamlets.
