Triathlon at Ridracoli: 3 excursions in one!
A whole day of exploration in unspoilt places and breathtaking views of the Casentino Forests National Park!
You will enjoy an experience that will combine:
- An E-Bike ride
- A trek in the woods of the Casentino Forests National Park
- The experience of crossing Lake Ridracoli in a canoe
Get ready for a unique experience!
CANOEING(1h and 30 minutes)
We will set off in comfortable canoes to explore the most hidden corners of Lake Ridracoli until we reach the shores of its most remote end.
TREKKING (1h)
From the shores of the lake, we will follow a path immersed in the majesty of the forest. Following the crystal-clear waters of the Fosso della Lama we will arrive at the famous Foresta della Lama, once an "artisanal area" of the Grand Duchy of Tuscany, where we will have our packed lunch.
After lunch, it will be time to get on our E-Bikes!
E-BIKE (2h 30 min)
Once on the E-Bike, we will travel along a comfortable forest track defined by many as "the most beautiful forest track in Italy" and leave the Foresta della Lama in the direction of the small abandoned village of Casanova dell'Alpe to then arrive at the starting point, Ridracoli.
Meeting point: 9.00 am at the Ridracoli Dam ticket office
Return: about 5.30 p.m.
Cost: €55 per person*.
* The price includes: canoe and life jacket hire, E-Bike hire (+ helmet), canoe instructors, GAE guide, qualified MTB guides, entrance to the dam and to IDRO Ecomuseum of Ridracoli Waters
Necessary equipment:
Backpack with a complete change of clothes (including underwear), a towel, packed lunch, plastic bag (e.g. black rubbish bag), an empty bottle, 1 litre of water, windproof K-Way and if available cycling shorts with pad. Sneakers/trekking shoes, clothing suitable for a day outdoors.
At the end of the event a free visit to Idro Ecomuseo delle Acque di Ridracoli is possible.
