With the spring season, the MUSSS, the Sasso Simone and Simoncello Park Nature Museum, reopens to the public.
At the MUSSS, adults and children come face to face with the animals that populate the Park, with stones and fossils, feathers and facts and many exhibits that can be touched.
The wolf, wild cat, birds of prey, roe deer, foxes, badgers and many other animals are exhibited in dioramas reproducing the natural habitats of the Park.
In the Museo del Presente section, there are naturalistic exhibits, plant oddities and findings of all kinds, found in the Park area during excursions or donated to the Musss by the local community.
In the geology section you can learn more about the geodiversity of the Park and explore the history of our planet with minerals and rocks from many places around the world.
With our stereoscopes you can observe the correspondences between small and large, between light and shadow, between geometric shapes and repeating patterns.
The conference room hosts events, meetings and trainings, exhibitions and screenings, and the library houses volumes and guides on the subjects of botany, ecology, landscape study, local history and environmental education.
All Museum spaces are available for educational, cultural and social promotion activities.
