AFTERHOURS | Ballads For Little Hyenas
20 years after its first release, a special edition reissue of 'Ballads for Little Hyenas' will be released this spring. For the occasion, Manuel Agnelli reunites the band from back then with Andrea Viti (bass), Dario Ciffo (violin, guitar) and Giorgio Prette (drums). The celebratory tour will start in June
A few months ago, when the possibility of re-releasing 'Ballads for Little Hyenas' emerged,' says Manuel Agnelli, 'I kept getting requests to hear it live again, in its entirety. It was at that moment that the idea came to me that playing it live, with the band of the time, would give it a deeper meaning. All it took was a phone call to the bandmates from that season. After two hours, the band was back together again.
This is a bit of the 'magic' of the Afterhours project. It has been so many things, had so many line-ups, that it allows you to get back on the road without contacting nostalgia but only new energy.
The historic line-up will be on tour in the summer and will take the stage at the Beky Bay in Bellaria Igea Marina on Saturday 26 July.
