Puppets Festival is back! Are you ready children? The funniest characters from the strangest stories return in June.

The Festival Diffuso di Teatro di Figura e Animazione (Widespread Festival of Figure Theatre and Animation) makes a stop in Cattolica once again this year.

The puppets and their stories are back, all to laugh at, sometimes even to cry over. They return with their fantastic adventures and misadventures.

In Piazza del Tramonto at the Port of Cattolica, next to the sea, three unmissable shows await you, with characters you won't forget.

One show every month from June to August.

Bread, Butter & Puppets Festival starts on Monday 23 June. Who among you has never heard strange noises coming from the cellar? In Lagrù Teatro's show 'Il Mostro della Cantina' the protagonist will discover that monsters really do exist.

On Monday 14 July, it will be the turn of a unique performance by Veronica Gonzales' Teatro dei Piedi. The multi-award-winning artist will stage "Va dove ti porta il piede", with her characters moved by their feet. Not to be missed.

Finally, on Monday 11 August, "Arrivano i Briganti" by the Compagnia i burattini di Flavio, an exciting adventure with Doctor Balanzone, Fagiolino, Sganapino and Sandrone. They will all face the terrible Brigante Spaccateste and his sidekick Pasticcia, who will upset the peace of the village of Prugnasecca. Who will manage to restore serenity and defeat Spaccateste?
