SAILS AT THE THIRD Gathering of Historic Boats 2025

An event celebrating maritime culture and history in an atmosphere rich in history and passion for the sea!

The 25th anniversary celebrations of the Regina Museum continue in Cattolica with events dedicated to traditional seafaring.

FRIDAY 25 JULY at 9.00 p.m. the garden of the Museo della Regina will host Prof. Stefano Medas, who will trace the birth of an interest in traditional Adriatic seafaring and the role of the Museo della Regina in protecting and enhancing this important heritage.

ON SATURDAY 26 JULY starting at 11.00 am, historic boats from the ports of Riccione, Rimini, Bellaria-Igea Marina, Cesenatico and Cervia will arrive in Cattolica's harbour-canal to join the Lancia "Marzia", the boat "Briciola" and the "Mario III" and the boats of the "Vele d'epoca Gabicce Mare" Association

The day will end at 9.00 pm in the garden of the Museo della Regina with readings and musical performances "Voci dal Mare" (Voices from the Sea) by the "La Canta" Cultural Association
