On Thursday 30 October, from 3.30 p.m. until 7 p.m., the heart of Riccione Paese will light up with the magic of Halloween, in Corso Fratelli Cervi (in the stretch between Viale Sciesa and Viale Ruffini) and Piazza Matteotti, which will be transformed into a large themed village for the occasion.

The event, organised by the Riccione Paese Committee in collaboration with the association Centro per le Comunità solari locali and Futuro verde Aps, proposes a Halloween edition under the banner of sustainability, the "Solar City Day", to convey to children - and not only - the value of respect for the environment and good daily practices.

In Piazza Matteotti, at 4.30 p.m., a snack will be offered to all children, kicking off an afternoon of play and discovery. Following this, at 5.30 p.m., a treasure hunt will start through the streets and squares of the ancient village, a fun and instructive path in search of hidden sustainable messages. Eco-friendly prizes will be up for grabs, while all participants will receive nectariferous flower seeds as a gift, to promote biodiversity and learn how to take care of nature.

The festival will continue in Piazza Matteotti with a series of themed workshops, designed to involve children in creative and sustainable activities. These include the workshop dedicated to piadina romagnola, where children will be able to knead and make fun shapes inspired by the spookiest night of the year, ancient wooden games, and the educational workshop organised by Il Giardino dei Colori, which will guide them in the creation of squares decorated with autumn seeds and natural elements. There will also be the traditional trick-or-treat among the participating shops in Riccione Paese, for an afternoon of celebration and creativity.

For the occasion, Corso Fratelli Cervi will be closed to traffic, turning into a big open-air party, with lights, games and activities designed to combine fun, sociability and environmental education. A different Halloween, which makes children smile and at the same time sows awareness for a greener future.
