Photos Riccione. Pico forever

From 5 December to 18 January 2026, Villa Mussolini will host the exhibition 'Foto Riccione. Pico forever', dedicated to Epimaco 'Pico' Zangheri, the photographer who for over fifty years has sensitively and rigorously documented Riccione's urban, tourist and cultural development.

The exhibition proposes a selection of black and white shots from the archives of the historic Foto Riccione studio, now managed by his son Gianni Zangheri, and accompanies visitors through unique visual narratives, enriching the itinerary already presented in 2022 for the Centenary of municipal autonomy "Foto Riccione. L'obiettivo di Pico".

The exhibition route implements its value through two new sections: an exploration of the profound and melancholic beauty of the off-season coastline, and the scenographic setting that restores the atmosphere of Pico's historic studio, recreated with precious memorabilia and tools made available by the Zangheri family. The exhibition is not only a tribute to the photographer, but a true journey through which Riccione is mirrored and told.

Exhibition opening hours: Monday to Thursday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.; Friday, Saturday, Sunday and holidays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
