Christmas Eve in Comacchio is an event that delights the senses and warms the heart. During the festive season, the historic centre is transformed into a magical place, suspended between tradition and natural beauty.
In the late afternoon of 24 December, the streets of Comacchio begin to animate: at 5 pm, the traditional “Bambén” ceremony will be held at the Cathedral, which involves the blessing of the nativity scene statues.

At 6 p.m., the atmosphere becomes even more colourful when the Trepponti, one of Comacchio's most iconic symbols, becomes the stage for a fireworks display that fascinates young and old alike.
