Oltremare Family Experience Park
Oltremare Family Experience Park in Riccione offers thrills and excitement linked to nature, science and adventure in an area covering over 110,000 m². The dolphins in Ulysses’ Lagoon, one of the most beautiful in Europe, will thrill young and old alike with two daily appointments: “Dolphins - Natural Wonders” and “Get to Know Dolphins”.
Every day, visitors can discover the life of cetaceans, their biology and behaviour, from playtime to feeding, veterinary care and free swimming, guided by a team of expert instructors and biologists. Oltremare also offers educational and interactive experiences such as “Meet Our Dolphins”, “Instructor for a Day”, and activities dedicated to falconry like “Meet Our Birds of Prey” and “Falconer for a Day”.
In the Australia Area, home to wallabies, visitors can explore a land inspired by the world’s most distant continent. Highlights include the giant Kronosaurus remains and a colourful rock face with cave drawings. Each family receives an Adventure Passport, collecting stamps after every experience in the park.
Taking a selfie with #Ulissedelfinocurioso (Ulysses the Curious Dolphin) is a must: the park’s beloved mascot welcomes guests daily in the new Ulysses’ Island, a 4,000 m² adventure area with rope bridges and boats.
Oltremare features a rich weekly events calendar, both day and night, where visitors can become farmers, grape harvesters, carpenters and explorers. Among the most popular evening experiences are “Nights Around the Fire” with tents and campfires, and “A Night with Dolphins”, where guests can fall asleep near the bottlenose dolphins of Planet Sea.
The park also celebrates the ancient art of falconry with “Flight of Birds of Prey” in the Owl’s Mill Area, alongside encounters with animals in the Farm Area and the vibrant “Flight of the Rainbow” with parrots (spring to September). In the Delta Area, visitors can enjoy nature-based adventures, including picnic areas, observation towers, climbing zones and canoe experiences on the lake.
Oltremare also offers indoor attractions, perfect in any weather:
Planet Sea, dedicated to marine ecosystems
Planet Earth, a journey through the evolution of our planet
Darwin, a prehistoric jungle with giant alligators.
In the Save a Species Area, guests can explore the exhibition “Scart: The Beautiful and Useful Side of Waste – A Sea to Save” and discover Costa Edutainment projects focused on environmental conservation.
