Oltremare Family Experience Park

Oltremare Family Experience Park in Riccione offers thrills and excitement linked to nature, science and adventure in an area covering over 110,000 m². The dolphins in Ulysses’ Lagoon, one of the most beautiful in Europe, will thrill young and old alike with two daily appointments; “Dolphins - natural wonders” and “Get to know dolphins”. Every day, the public can learn all about the life of cetaceans, their biology and their behaviour (from when they play, to when they feed, from vet sessions, to when they swim freely) in the company of our team of instructors and biologists. Following the same approach, Oltremare also offers visitors various educational and interactive programmes such as “Meet our dolphins” and “Instructor for a day” and others to discover the secrets of falconry, such as “Meet our birds of prey” and “Falconer for a day”.

Wallaby in the Australia Area, which is dedicated to the continent furthest from us. Here visitors can also discover the remains of a giant Kronosaurus and the colourful rock face with cave drawings. We give each family a special Adventure Passport which they can fill in with a stamp they can get after each experience they enjoy in the park.

Taking a selfie with #Ulissedelfinocurioso Ulyssesthecuriousdolphin is now a reality: our mascot of the most famous dolphin in Italy can be found every day meeting and greeting families and welcoming visitors to the new and exciting Ulysses’ Island, over 4,000 m² with rope bridges and boats.

Back again is our packed calendar of weekly events, both during the day and at night, that transform visitors into farmers, grape harvesters, carpenters and adventurers. The most popular evening events include Nights around the Fire with tents and campfires and A Night with Dolphins where you can fall asleep in front of the large bottlenose dolphins of Planet Sea. There’s also room for the fascinating art of falconry with Flight of Birds of Prey in the Owl’s Mill Area and a chance to meet animals at the Farm, as well as the colourful parrots of Flight of the Rainbow (from spring to September). Visitors can also experience nature first-hand in the Delta Area, a focal point for adventures, with games and picnic areas, observation turrets, bouldering areas and canoe trips on the lake. Oltremare surprises guests with its indoor itineraries too: Planet Sea hosts various marine ecosystems, Planet Earth is a journey through the evolution of our planet and Darwin a prehistoric jungle, home to enormous alligators.

In the Save a Species area the exhibition 'Scart: the beautiful and useful side of waste - A Sea to Save' and many Costa Edutainment projects to safeguard the environment.
