Shopping in the Rimini Riviera
Feel like shopping?
Then you will be satisfied. You are on the Rimini Riviera and you can choose from numerous possibilities for your purchases.
There are the shopping streets, which extend within the historic centers of the towns or along the seafront of the Riviera. A real stroll among shop windows, shops with prestigious designer labels, or handcrafted products from the area, including bags, shoes and various accessories.
The Rimini Riviera also satisfies those looking for the ''convenience'' of shopping centers, a single place with shops, restaurants, bars and cinemas!
THE SHOPPING STREETS
In Rimini, in the historic heart of the town - along Corso D'augusto, via Garibaldi, Piazza Tre Martiri and via IX Novembre - you will find numerous shopping opportunities, where you can choose among important designer labels, but also international brands suitable for younger people.
There are also original and traditional shops. For those looking for a perfect souvenir to give to someone or to take home, we recommend the rust-printed canvases of Stamperia Ruggine in via Bertani.
Riccione, the main fashion district is between Viale Dante and Viale Ceccarini, a trendy place that has given birth to new fashions over the years. Here you will find clothing and jewelry shops selling the major brands. And after shopping, an aperitif in the nightlife venues of Riccione is a must.
Cattolica is known for the elegance of its clothing, shoe and antique shops - located in Viale Bovio) - but also for its open-air market, where every Saturday among its hundreds of stalls, you can find lots of bargains and purchasing opportunities at very advantageous prices.
In the evening, after dinner, a walk along Viale Dante and Viale Carducci offers you the right opportunity for shopping. Cattolica offers a lot for small and large shopping needs.
In Bellaria, the shopping center par excellence is the Isola dei Platani, the area around Piazzale Gramsci, Via Guidi, Piazza Don Minzoni and Piazza Matteotti. This tree-lined avenue is full of shops of all kinds, clothing, souvenirs, footwear, accessories and beach items. But Isola dei Platani is not just for shopping, thanks to the presence of cafés with outdoor tables, ice cream parlors, arcades and common areas where you can meet and chat.
In Igea Marina, on the other hand, the heart of the shopping streets is located in Via Ovidio, between Via Properzio and Piazzale Santa Margherita. The shops are simpler, mainly ice cream shops, arcades and shops selling beach items. The area is for pedestrians only from 8:00 pm to midnight.
“LE BEFANE” SHOPPING CENTER
“Le Befane” Shopping Center is the largest shopping center on the Rimini Riviera, a destination for many tourists, especially on rainy days.
On over 210,000 square meters of total area, there are 130 businesses, including an E. Leclerc-Conad hypermarket, a multiplex with 12 cinemas, various points with restaurant services, bars, ice cream parlors, ATMs and a 3,500-space car park.
A giant of this kind attracts thousands of visitors and this is why there is a free shuttle service available every day during the summer months to reach the shopping center.
