MotoGP: the celebrations are in full swing across the Rimini Riviera

From 11 to 13 September, the Red Bull Grand Prix of San Marino and the Rimini Riviera will also bring the excitement to Cattolica, Misano Adriatico and Coriano with events, shows and activities dedicated to the world of motorcycling.
International motorcycling returns to the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli for the Red Bull San Marino and Rimini Riviera Grand Prix.
But the MotoGP weekend isn’t just about the circuit. During the Grand Prix, the passion for motorcycling spills off the track and engulfs the local area with a programme of supporting events that this year brings Cattolica, Misano Adriatico and Coriano to life.
Three towns and three different ways to soak up the atmosphere of the World Motorcycle Championship: meet-and-greets with the stars, motor sports shows, music, motorbike experiences and events that highlight the deep connection between this region and the world of motorsport.
Cattolica: MotoGP comes to the town with Cattolica Ride Week
From 11 to 13 September, Cattolica becomes one of the weekend’s key destinations with Cattolica Ride Week, the city-wide festival that brings the energy of MotoGP to the heart of the town. The town centre comes alive between Via Fiume, Piazza Primo Maggio, Via Bovio and Via Mancini, with all events free to attend on all three days.
The programme is structured around three themes: LIVE, FEEL, DISCOVER.
LIVE focuses on the social aspect, with talks, meet-and-greets, music and guests from the world of MotoGP: the evening events take place at the Giardini De Amicis.
FEEL, on the other hand, allows visitors to get closer to the racing action through the MotoGP Grid, the official show bikes, professional simulators and the Moto Kids area, with experiences designed with families in mind.
Finally, with DISCOVER, you get on the bike: the Ride Experiences take you on a journey of discovery through Cattolica, the Valconca and the Rimini Riviera, combining a passion for motorcycling with the landscapes and roads of the hinterland.
A veritable festival spread across the entire duration of the Grand Prix.
Misano Adriatico: two days of adrenaline with DEDIKATO
DEDIKATO returns to Misano Adriatico – the event that has been a fixture of the Grand Prix weekend for twenty years and which, in its 2026 edition, pays tribute to Daijiro Kato, the Japanese rider with deep ties to Misano.
On 11 and 12 September, Arena 58 and various areas of the town will host two days dedicated to the world of motorsport.
Among the most spectacular events will be the Daboot Freestyle Motocross, stunt riding shows with Maurizio Perin, the Drifting Show, vintage and track bikes, and, on Saturday, a parachute display by the Turbolenza team.
There’ll also be something for the little ones with Hobby Sport’s mini motocross bikes from the Moto Club Misano, whilst the Aprilia simulator will allow visitors to virtually experience the track.
Mototherapy is also on the programme for Friday, whilst on Saturday vintage motorbikes will parade through the town’s streets and the book *Misano City Circuit* will be launched.
DEDIKATO will draw to a close with a fireworks display over the sea in Piazzale Roma on Saturday evening.
Coriano: in Marco Simoncelli’s home town, amidst memories, motorbikes and the local area
Coriano, too, is getting into the Grand Prix spirit with a weekend that links the world of motorcycling to the town’s history and identity.
On Friday 11 September at 7.00 pm, there will be a special lighting of the ‘Fiamma del Sic’ in the Dainese Area on Via Patrignani: the flame will burn for 58 seconds – Marco Simoncelli’s number – just as the World Motorcycle Championship returns to its home track.
From 11 to 13 September, Coriano will also be the starting point for the Romagna Challenge, a motorbike journey through back roads, villages and the hills of the hinterland. It is not a speed race, but a stage-based route in which participants must tackle quizzes, clues and photographic challenges contained in the Travel Quiz Book.
On Saturday 12 September, there will also be the end-of-summer ‘MOTO Sbaraccata’, a day of celebrations welcoming fans, tourists and curious visitors who have come for the Grand Prix, with Romagna cuisine, music, beer and wine.
Three days to experience Coriano and discover first-hand the area linked to the history of Marco Simoncelli.
Cattolica, Misano and Coriano showcase three different facets of the same weekend: that of spectacle, that of passion, and that of a region where motorcycling is part of the local history and identity – and here, the MotoGP doesn’t end at the chequered flag.
