The Button Museum in Santarcangelo di Romagna continues to be the talk of the town... even on the other side of the world!

An Australian visitor, during a trip to Italy, decided to stop off in Santarcangelo specifically to discover the Button Museum, which she had read about. Fascinated by the collection and the enthusiasm of the guides, she took numerous photos and learned all about the history of the museum and its founder, Giorgio Gallavotti.

Back in Australia, there was a surprise: the visitor turned out to be a member of an exclusive club dedicated to fashion and unusual buttons. In the club's official magazine, she published an article entirely dedicated to the Button Museum, accompanied by photographs and a detailed description of her experience in Santarcangelo.

This was an important recognition for the town and for the ‘La Scatola dei Bottoni’ APS Association, which is dedicated to carrying on the cultural legacy left by Giorgio Gallavotti.

A small museum that tells a great story, capable of reaching - as Pope Francis said - ‘the ends of the earth’.
