The Blue Flags on the Rimini Riviera

When the sea is clean and a series of eco-sustainable services are offered to tourists, an international recognition is awarded, established in 1987, by the Foundation for Environmental Education-FEE called the Blue Flag.
It is synonymous with clean sea, separate waste collection, cycle paths, and accessibility for everyone.
On the Rimini Riviera, the beaches of Bellaria Igea Marina, Riccione, and Misano Adriatico have obtained the blue flag for 2023.
The excellent quality of the waters is assessed on the basis of microbiological parameters established by the EU directive regarding bathing.

Along the Rimini Riviera, therefore, we are certain that we can swim in waters that have no pollutants of an organic origin, such as coli bacteria and intestinal enterococci.
The health of marine waters is well illustrated and updated by the the Regional Environmental Prevention Agency in collaboration with the Health Service of the Emilia Romagna Region.
