The film, directed by Stefano Pistolini, was the result of a musical experiment by Francesco De Gregori who, about ten months before the feature film was made, chose to take a decidedly unconventional path.

Nevergreen" is the chronicle of an unrepeatable experience: 20 exclusive concerts at the Out-Off theatre in Milan, in a single concert film that reveals an unsuspected backstage and the encounters between these greats of Italian music.
