The universal language of the body and movement forms part of the packed programme for the Riviera’s most eagerly awaited weekend, offering one last thrilling experience in the heart of Riccione, where art embraces the sea and the city.

On Sunday 21 June, from 9.30 pm, the splendid setting of Piazzale Roma will host the fifth edition of the “Riccione per la Danza” gala, a free event open to all that brings the long Notte Rosa weekend to a close, bringing together the finest talents from the dance and acrobatics schools of the province of Rimini.

The event, organised by the B-You company under the artistic direction of Barbara Bianchi, is designed as a true meeting point between dance and the city. The event celebrates Ars Gratia Artis – art for art’s sake – understood as a form of expression capable of conveying deep emotions and telling stories without the use of words, celebrating the Notte Rosa through the language of dance. A poetic journey and an immersive experience for audiences of all kinds.

The stage will feature a rich and varied programme spanning all genres: from the discipline of classical ballet to the evocative styles of contemporary and modern dance, right through to the energy of hip hop, street dance, breaking and acrobatics, not to mention modern influences and choreographed performances with a strong visual impact. A true celebration brought to life by the talent, passion and creativity of young dancers.

The show will be brought to life by no fewer than 13 dance schools, the very best in the area: B-You Acrobatic, Accademia Antonella Bartolacci, Aulos Danza, Dance Studio, Acrobatic Team Riccione, New Graphic Ballet, Regina Centro Danza, Anca Ardelean, Lions Academy Danza, Scuola di Balletto di Rimini, Riccione Dance Center, On Stage Rimini and Underground Street School.
