Saturday 19 September will see the start of the third edition of the “Ricc10ne Sunset Run”, the city running event that combines wellbeing, socialising and charity in a unique setting at sunset.

The event, officially included in the national FIDAL calendar, will take place over a 10-kilometre course certified for competitive racing. Alongside the main race, the event will welcome a wide and diverse audience thanks to non-competitive 10- and 5-kilometre routes designed specifically for running enthusiasts, walkers and families.

The start is set at Piazzale Roma, which will also serve as the finish line for all participants.

The nerve centre of the event will be the Sunset Village, set up entirely in Piazzale Roma, which will bring the day to life from the early hours of the morning. From 10.00 to 18.00, the area will host free fitness sessions open to all, in collaboration with Fluxo, alongside performances and demonstrations organised by local sports clubs.

Following the competitors’ arrival and the presentation of medals to all finishers, the event will transform into a huge communal celebration featuring a final refreshment stop, live music, DJ sets and the closing Sunset Party.

There will be a strong focus on local culture and conviviality thanks to a dedicated food area, where selected food trucks will serve street food and local specialities such as piadina, accompanied by craft beers and local wines.
