Verucchio is taking part in “Il Borgo dei desideri”, the national initiative organised by the Association of Italy’s Most Beautiful Villages, which involves the historic centres of the network on the night of San Lorenzo.

For a whole day, the village becomes a place to make a wish: visitors are invited to write down their wish and leave it here, in one of Italy’s most beautiful villages.

A simple gesture that combines the folk tradition of shooting stars with the history of Verucchio’s streets and the view from the village over the Marecchia valley.
