On Saturday 31 October and Sunday 1 November 2026, Cattolica will be decked out in autumn colours as it launches the Cattolica Sottobosco | Tempi di Recupero Festival, a new event dedicated to the local area, cuisine, craftsmanship and the culture of upcycling.

For a whole weekend, the town becomes a place to discover flavours, knowledge, people and new possibilities, through a programme that invites you to look at your surroundings with fresh eyes.

What does upcycling really mean?

It’s not just about avoiding waste. Recovery means giving new value to what already exists: to an ingredient, a recipe, a craft, a tradition passed down through the ages, but also to the resources and stories that belong to a region.

This is the central theme of Cattolica Sottobosco, a festival that brings the philosophy of recovery to the heart of the town, transforming it into an experience centred on flavour, creativity, connection and discovery.
