This work, the result of intensive archaeological, topographical and geomorphological research spanning over five years, together with studies based on the *Breviarium Ecclesiae Ravennatis* (and subsequent documentation), has enabled Daniele Sacco, a lecturer in Christian archaeology, late antiquity and the Middle Ages at the Carlo Bo University of Urbino, to propose a previously unpublished evolutionary model for the countryside around Rimini. Thus, the ancient roots of Rimini and its landscape are brought to light, and many places we see today find their significance 1,500 years ago. This event will focus primarily on the Coriano area and the neighbouring municipalities
