Vincenzo Tommasi, poet of the vineyard and navigator of the land, is a formidable artisan winemaker, among the greatest in Italy. And his Pinot Noir, which he has been making at Podere della Civettaja in Casentino since 2008, is one of the top 15 best in Europe, outside of Burgundy.
