Summer Notes Portoverde Music Fest

Comune di Misano Adriatico

This year "Note d'Estate", the event organised by the Centro Musicale Vivaldi, in collaboration with the Municipality of Misano Adriatico, which brings music to Piazzale Colombo in Portoverde every Thursday.

Eight dates, starting on Thursday 4 July, which will offer a programme ranging from various genres, bringing young artists and bands from the local music scene and beyond onto the stage.

Opening the festival, on Thursday 4 July, will be Misano singer-songwriter Davide Ricci, who will present "Cantautori e non..", a tribute to the artists who have accompanied him and inspired him to compose: from De André to Vasco, via Graziani, Dalla, Bennato, Silvestri, Battisti, De Gregori, Berté, and Celentano.

On 11 July it will be the turn of Silvia Wakte, a guitarist and singer who trained musically between Italy and the USA, who will propose a journey into territories where rock is a woman and leaves its mark, between eras, contaminations and taboos.

On 18 July The Crawfischers, a duo with a country and blues background, will be joined by the roaring harmonica of Rimini-born Marco Betti.

On 25 July, a Rock Acoustic Duo not to be missed: the Luciferos. Lucia Solferino, violinist in the Ensemble Symphony Orchestra, and Eros Rambaldi, double bass player in the Mosaic Jazz Collective, unite their apparently distant sound worlds in rock.

Thursday 1 August will be the turn of the Mirò, a Saxophone Quartet proposing a repertoire that highlights and enhances the timbral, expressive and virtuosic capabilities of this versatile instrument.

On 8 August on the stage in Piazzale Colombo the energy of Limbo Tree, a collective that for many years has been exploring the territories of Jamaican music in all its forms and reconstructing its sonic nuances.

On 22 August it will be the turn of another quartet, the Minor Swinger, four established musicians from Romagna, two of whom are members and founders of Quintorigo, with their Jazz and Swing repertoire that will immerse listeners in the smoky and transgressive atmosphere of a 1940s Parisian "bal musette".

Closing, on 29 August, with Terence Kill, an explosive trio that will propose a mix of unforgettable songs in the atmosphere of 60s Surf Rock, Rock'n'Roll and original reinterpretations of the soundtracks of film masterpieces that have made history.

All concerts of the Note d'Estate festival will start at 9.30 pm. Admission is free.

Events may be subject to change, always contact organizers before going to the venue.
