From 5 to 11 July the Santarcangelo Festival kicks off, a live performance event with Italian and international guests: one of the most significant European events for theatre and dance, which transforms the medieval town into a 'festival city' for 10 days, with over 170 performances, 9 DJ sets and 8 public meetings.

Ganganelli Square is the heart of the festival: between the 18th century triumphal arch and the circular fountain designed by Tonino Guerra, some of the festival performances will be staged. Sound becomes a beat and turns into music in its obsessive repetition: this happens in HIT out by Parini Secondo. Also in the square is the performance, between theatre and dance, 52blue by Brazilian Francisco Thiago Cavalcanti.

The Festival programme is an opportunity to present works new to the Italian public, such as Rive, by Dalila Belaza, one of the most appreciated French choreographers on the international scene, staged on Sunday 14 July at the Teatro Galli in Rimini.
