Misano Piano Festival is the event dedicated to the piano that for decades has been a meeting point for the Riviera audience eager to listen to the great masterpieces of this instrument.

From 6 August to 24 November, the Misano Piano Festival offers a schedule of outstanding appointments.

On Tuesday, 6 August, at the Church of SS. Biagio and Erasmo in Misano Monte, the Festival opens with the inaugural concert "Incantimi e Incanti, da orient a occidente" featuring Roberto Cappello, the renowned Italian pianist and winner of the prestigious Busoni Prize in 1976.

On Sunday 11 August, the Festival moves, as per tradition, to the Cortile d'onore of Gradara Castle, the ideal setting for the repertoire we will hear within its ancient walls.
"Trame Romantiche - Un concerto sotto le stelle" is the theme of the evening featuring Alessio Lowenthal, a pupil of Enrico Pace and Andrè Gallo at the International Piano Academy "Incontri col Maestro" in Imola, who has performed in solo and chamber recitals in Italy and abroad and won more than 20 international competitions.

Admission to the concert is free with compulsory booking.

On Friday 16 August, the Festival will take place at Il Mulino Restaurant, in the reception hall in Misano Adriatico.
The star of the evening will be Anastasia Fioranti, who has been performing in numerous national and international competitions since the age of 9.
During the evening, an introduction to listening will be provided by Francesco Giovinazzo.
Admission will be by reservation only and on payment. There will be a tasting before the concert by the Il Mulino restaurant.

Tuesday 20 August The festival will again move to the Church of Saints Biagio and Erasmo in Misano Monte.
The title of the concert will be "The Piano of Sergei Rachmaninov". The artist who will perform during the evening will be Michele Castaldo; since 2013 he has taken part in numerous piano competitions, winning awards.
At only 12 years of age, he performed with the orchestra W. A. Mozart's Piano Concerto No. 2 K.39 and at 16, at the Teatro Manzoni in Bologna, L. V. Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 2. He has successfully given recitals as soloist in various Italian cities including Florence, Venice, Lecce, Ravenna, Ferrara and in events such as the 'Livorno Music Festival' and the 'Festival Fundación Olivar de Castillejo' in Madrid.

The Autumn Piano section closes the programme in October and November with two significant events:
- Thursday 10 October at the Teatro degli Atti in Rimini, dedicated to the figure of Maestro Alfredo Speranza, an honorary citizen of Rimini, and the other
- Saturday 24 November at the Astra Theatre in Misano Adriatico, held on the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women.
