Two days to immerse oneself in the Park's soundscape and discover its biodiversity and cultural heritage through the sound dimension, with moments of theoretical reflection and active listening practices in the field, guided by ornithologists, researchers and musicians.

Parks, sounds, heritages: examples of soundscape studies
10 a.m. - 11 a.m.
The Soundscape of Val di Rabbi, Stelvio National Park
with Francesca Corradini, anthropologist
11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
Soundscape with Bells from the Province of Fermo
with Serena Abrami, musician and researcher
12:30 p.m.
Convivial lunch
2:30 p.m. | Pennabilli, Piazza del Paese
On the sound of bells: experiential listening workshop
with Serena Abrami and Francesca Corradini
Starting with the tolling of the bells of the village of Pennabilli, participants divided into small groups will be offered a series of activities of listening, recording and re-elaboration of the sounds, in anticipation of a collective return.

Convivial dinner
9:00 p.m. | Gaudia Pond, Pennabilli
Night listening excursion: the frog choir
On tiptoe we will approach the Gaudia pond, to sit near it and listen together, in silence, to its particular chorus of frogs and toads. A brief moment of dialogue on the sounds of amphibians and celestial harmonies will conclude the experience.
SUNDAY 13 APRIL
5:30 a.m. | Beech wood of Pianacquadio, Carpegna
Listening excursion: the morning choir
with Vincenzo Alfano, ornithologist and musician
Vincenzo Alfano will lead us on a walk to listen to the songs of the birds that populate the Pianacquadio beech forest, the surrounding woods and the summit meadows. At the end, a convivial breakfast will be offered to participants on site.
10 a.m. | Pieve di San Giovanni Battista, Carpegna
Ora et labora: the sounds of craftsmanship and spirituality
The Antica Stamperia Carpegna will open its doors to us to learn about the ancient artisan art of printing through its sounds, understood as intangible cultural heritage. The meeting will end with a visit to the Benedictine Monks of the Divine Will, at the Pieve di San Giovanni Battista.
