Valmarecchia, the heart of Montefeltro: between the vigour of the fortress and the magic of the places of the soul.



The day begins with a visit to San Leo, a splendid village perched on a cliff overlooking the entire valley. We stroll through charming alleyways until we reach the medieval fortress with its circular tower, the unmistakable signature of architect Francesco Di Giorgio Martini, one of the protagonists of the Italian Renaissance. Together we discover the story of Cagliostro, the alchemist shrouded in mystery who spent his last days in captivity here.

After a regenerating meal of traditional flavours we reach Pennabilli, a village of the soul and of poetry. Here we enter the evocative diffused itinerary designed by Tonino Guerra. Amidst artistic installations, hidden corners and poetic messages, you will experience an exciting itinerary capable of surprising you at every step.

The day concludes in the magical setting of the Orto dei Frutti Dimenticati, where a rich aperitif with tasting of local specialities awaits us, amidst fragrances, flavours and an authentic atmosphere.
