The municipality of Coriano is organising, in collaboration with the National Association of Faleristica, (ANF), from 27 June to 14 September, a series of meetings, at the 'G.A. Battarra' Municipal Library in Via Martin Luther King, 13, inspired by the historical events that enabled the liberation of the territory of Rimini, eighty years ago, with the crossing of the Gothic Line.
In particular:
- Thursday 27 June, 6.30 p.m., conference entitled "From Rome to the Gothic Line", by Dr. Daniele Cesaretti, independent historical researcher and deputy director of the Subbiano War Museum (Arezzo); moderated by Gen. Giovanni Ramunno, president of the National Army Aviation Association - Rimini section.
- Thursday, 4 July, 9 p.m. presentation of the book "Gotica80" by Daniele Celli, historical researcher, and Gen. Giovanni Ramunno; moderated by Col. Mauro Bloise, director of "il Basco Azzurro".
- Friday, 12 July, 9.00 p.m., presentation of the book "Generali e Battaglie della Linea Gotica" (Generals and Battles of the Gothic Line) by Prof. Andrea Santangelo, military historian, archaeologist and populariser of science; moderated by Raffaele Scozzafava, ANF president.
- Thursday 5 September, 6.30 p.m., conference entitled "Settembre 1944: a Coriano si decidono le fate dell'Europa orientale" (September 1944: the fate of Eastern Europe is decided in Coriano) by Prof. Andrea Montemaggi, historian and president of the "Amedeo Montemaggi" International Documentation Centre on the Gothic Line; moderated by Gen. Giovanni Ramunno.
- Saturday 14 September, 10.30 a.m., presentation of Daniele Susini's book "Le stragi nazi-fasciste nel territorio riminese" . and dialogue with historian Maurizio Casadei

As part of the initiatives to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the crossing of the Gothic Line and the Liberation of Rimini, the "Gotica80" project, born from an idea of the National Fascist Association, enjoys the patronage of the Ministry of Defence, the Emilia Romagna Region and the Municipalities of Rimini, Bellaria-Igea Marina, Coriano, Misano Adriatico, Montescudo-Montecolombo, Morciano di Romagna, Saludecio, Sassofeltrio, Verucchio and the Embassy of New Zealand.
