As part of the Sagra Musicale Malatestiana, the music festival 'Percuotere la mente' focuses on new sounds, offering concerts and special events from June to October, between the Corte degli Agostiniani and the Teatro Galli and Teatro degli Atti.

The 2025 programme features great Italian and international names such as the Swede Daniel Norgren (21 June), Mauro Pagani on the 40th anniversary of the release of his album "Crêuza de mä" (8 July), Vasco Brondi in a tribute to Tondelli (29 July), Midge Ure, leader of Ultravox (29 August), Federico Mecozzi in an unprecedented pairing with Morgan (23 September) and special projects that are gems in the programme, such as the homage to Julius Eastman proposed by Oscar Pizzo and Fabio Cherstich (18 September) and the alienating music in the dark by a cult contemporary such as Friedrich Haas entrusted to Sentieri Selvaggi (13 October).
