All the power, expert personnel and financial resources are at the centre, but all the innovation takes place on the periphery, on the fringes of the known. Outside the pressure of large denominations, far from models and standards, creativity is necessary, just as it is decisive to distinguish oneself.
In Umbria, a group of artisan winemakers is working to innovate the image of a region that has for so long been stuck at the centre of a few big companies and a few big names.
An important part of that group will be with us on Tuesday 9 July.
