Looking for the good
When summer fades into autumn, the Rimini hills are populated by silent hunters, guided by the faithful nose of their bloodhounds, hunting for truffles, black gold or white gold, depending on destiny, bringing back to the surface hidden treasures that shine on the perfumed stalls of fairs such as Sant’Agata Feltria.

First stop Sant'Agata Feltria, between history and flavours
Every Sunday in October during the National White Truffle Fair, a journey through the scents of autumn awaits you: among prized truffles, typical flavours, glasses of wine and the magic of searching with hounds.
In Sant’Agata Feltria every corner tells a story:
- visit the Mariani Theatre
- explore the Rocca Fregoso
- and let yourself be enchanted by the path of fountains.
Second stage Talamello, a small village, great emotions
After a 20-minute drive you arrive at Talamello.
In November, the village lights up with the Fiera del Formaggio di Fossa: among stalls, shows and intense flavours, a centuries-old tradition is relived.
But Talamello è is also a treasure trove of masterpieces:
- the Giottesque Crucifix by Giovanni da Rimini
- the Cella frescoed by Antonio Alberti
- the Gualtieri Museum, with 42 works that tell “the splendour of the real”.
Third stage Mondaino, among truffles, cheeses and fine honey
In the heart of the Conca valley, Mondaino celebrates the truffle in November with the Fossa, Truffle and Venus event, an unmissable opportunity to savour autumn flavours.
The mondaino is also famous for its cheeses and honey, which are famous for their delicious delicacies.
The borough is also famous for its cheeses and honey, true gastronomic treasures: the Fosse del mulino della Porta di Sotto preserve precious pecorinos that time transforms into authentic rarities, while honey, the fruit of local biodiversity, enriches dishes with its unique variants.
For mushroom hunters, these lands are also a paradise: from porcini mushrooms to ovules, from chiodini to rare spring varieties such as the blackthorn mushroom, star of the historic Miratoio festival. Alongside mushrooms and truffles, wild asparagus, stridoli, borage and a thousand wild herbs that enrich the local cuisine also grow here.
