Four-legged friends are increasingly becoming an integral part of our families, and this transformation, which has touched all social contexts, is also changing the way we take vacations.
Through a Pet Friendly project we recount this transformation with a keen eye on the 4-legged and Pet vacations of Italians.
Romagna is a green land, with immense beaches and wonderful cities of art, but it is also the land of piadina, motors and long hilly paths... of course with furry children in tow.
So... welcome to the four-legged!
THE PET FRIENDLY PROJECT
In Romagna, there are more and more bathing establishments, hotels, tourist resorts, campsites, and agritourisms that welcome 4-legged vacationers with open arms!
Not only hotels and bathing establishments but also thousand-year-old fortresses where dogs can enter with their masters, Romagna's theme parks from Mirabilandia in Ravenna to the Cattolica Aquarium where four-legged pets are welcome, private museums in the area where four-legged friends are accepted, nature parks such as Sasso Simone and Simoncello where they are taken on excursions, and business fairs that allow them access with their masters.
“Pet mania” is spreading like wildfire, which is why it is increasingly important to tell and map this fantastic world of 6-legged vacations (4 of the furry ones plus 2 of the humans) through a dedicated project that includes in steps the creation of editorial, informative and visual content with photos and videos of the area.
A real immersion in the world of four-legged services and experiences with a roundup of tourist information dedicated to dog travelers to make Pet Friendly vacationers' vacations in the land of Romagna easier and more usable.
THE GOALS
To tell tourists about PET friendly Romagna, made up of hospitality, experiences, events, itineraries, special features, news and everything that can interest vacationers accompanied by 4-legged friends.
To strongly convey this real emotional wave, the “Pet Passion” that is sweeping and transforming all social contexts and the tourist offer of our territory from North to South from the sea to the soft hills of Romagna.
In the summer of 2024, the editorial staffs of Visit Romagna and Riviera di Rimini will tell through traveling videos and photos the peculiarities of the territory as seen from the perspective of 4-legged friends.
