The Municipality of Riccione, in cooperation with the Fondazione Biblioteca del Mulino (Mill Library Foundation), presents the first edition of 'Novecento in riva al mare' (20th Century on the Seashore), scheduled from 22 to 26 April, on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the Republic: great names of Italian culture will animate the Riviera with narrations and performances linking the great national events to local memory.

On the occasion of International Earth Day, "Stardust", by and with Alessia Canducci, will be staged on Wednesday 22 April at 10 am at the Sala Ganturismo.

"Stardust" is a book that breathes: it blends philosophical and existential questions, scientific knowledge and poetry, and immerses us in strongly evocative images; it portrays the climate crisis, taking the reader on a journey through the Earth's past, present and future.

On stage an actress, a musician and a large screen on which the images carefully edited and animated by Giovanni Vincenti are projected. Alessia Canducci's voice leads the spectators inside the book, to experience questions, fears and hopes together, to the rhythm of breath and colour.

Atmospheres, emotions and contrasts are amplified by the music, composed and performed live by pianist Federico Squassabia.
