The summer of great international serials is back: from 3 to 11 July 2026, Rimini and Riccione will host the new edition of the Italian Global Series (IGS). Directed by Marco Spagnoli and organised by APA (Audiovisual Producers Association), the prestigious festival will turn the Romagna Riviera into the world crossroads of authors, producers, and stars of the small screen.

Grand final gala with awards ceremony. Directed by Duccio Forzano, conducted by Sergio Friscia and the participation of Matilde Gioli in the role of godmother.

The festival will feature no less than 21 series from 15 countries (selected from over 160 entries from all over the world), divided into the Drama, Comedy and Limited Series sections.

Rai Fiction World Premieres: In competition will be the eagerly awaited new films I casi di Teresa Battaglia - Figlia della cenere (with Elena Sofia Ricci), One of Us (with Raoul Bova) and Una piccola formalità (with Pilar Fogliati).

Italian Showcase: An exclusive look at the series of the next Rai, Mediaset and Prime Video season, with the presence of guests such as Francesca Chillemi, Serena Rossi, Luigi Lo Cascio and Massimiliano Gallo.

CONVERSATIONS & GREAT ENCOUNTERS:
On 5 July in Rimini the star couple of Turkish series Ozge Gürel and Serkan Çayo?lu.

The masters of narration Carlton Cuse (Lost) and John Ridley (Oscar winner for 12 Years a Slave).

- 60 years of Star Trek: On 8 July in Riccione the preview of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds in the presence of actress Jeri Ryan and director Nicholas Meyer.

- Maximino Prize: New this year, awarded by a jury of 60 students from the best Italian film schools as part of the IGS Summer School.
